Dear Mr. Giammalvo:
I would
like to take this opportunity to share with you, our feelings regarding
your service and professionalism that have always been provided by you
and your sons and the staff.
I
have been a customer of yours for nearly 30 years now, and in that time
I have purchased a number of cars from you. My family and I have always
been treated well by you and the staff. You personally have always provided
us with a kind word, and service and have taken care of us when there have
been mechanical problems with our cars. You truly care about your customers
and want to keep them happy.
Recently, our
car was repaired by your mechanics and shortly after being repaired a problem
arose. The time frame that was given to me, by your service department,
was too long of a wait and the car had to be serviced. I took it upon myself
to have the car repaired at another garage and was forced to have the same
repairs done to the car that had been done previously by your staff, along
with some additional work. It ended up that some damage was done to the
part that your mechanics had replaced. Because I brought this to your attention,
you investigated as to why the repairs had not fully been done in the first
place. You made a special effort to get to the bottom of the repair and
contacted me and basically sent me a reimbursement for the repairs that
were done. I found this to be so concerning on your part, along with our
phone conversation. I was very surprised, in this day and age, that someone
in your position would go so far as to rectify the problem.
We are
extremely appreciative of your efforts to please your customers and for
that we thank you. We hope that Giammalvo's never looses that personal
touch that it has with the customer and that we can continue to do business
for many years to come.
