Subject: 1994 Votec Jimmy Date: Fri, 2 Sep 2005 08:59:17 -0700 From: "CHRISTINE BRUNKEN" <bcbrunken@comcast.net> To: samgauto@samscars.com Hello,
I just 'stumbled'
on to your website when doing a google search re: "intake manifold leak(s)
on 4.3 V-6". Turns out you wrote this in 1999 about a leaking fuel pressure
regulator on a 1994 Jimmy, that had been sold to the customer through your
sales department.
As a former Instructor
of Automotive Service Technology at Portland Community College, Portland,
Or., I was very impressed by your comprehensive and logical approach to
solving the problem, your ability to explain your processes, and perhaps
most importantly for our industry as a whole, your willingness to see your
customers point of view and to compromise when.....how did you put it?....."the
waters are muddy".
The auto repair industry,
as you know, has a very rough time with customer retention. You folks would
appear to be one of those wonderful 'exceptions to the norm' in this regard.
Keep up the good work. If I'm ever in New Bedford perhaps I'll look you
up.
Kind Regards,
Robert Brunken
Automotive Instructor
(Retired)
